Identify the cable stream

Describe cable by known conductor material, cable type, approximate gauge or common designation, and whether the lot is insulated, mixed, or already separated. Identify copper-bearing and aluminum-bearing cable separately when known.

Include approximate weight, source project, condition, and any connectors or attached assemblies. If composition is uncertain, say so rather than estimating a metal percentage.

  • Insulated copper-bearing wire
  • Commercial electrical cable
  • Telecom and data-center cable
  • Mixed cable lots with known or unknown composition

Keep cable lots consistent and documented

When possible, separate cable from circuit boards, power supplies, batteries, and general metal scrap. A few representative photos and a weight estimate help buyers determine whether the material fits their current requirements.

Do not burn, strip, or otherwise process cable to prepare a request. Submit its existing condition and wait for written buyer instructions before any preparation or shipment.

Confirm acceptance before arranging transport

Cable valuation and acceptance depend on conductor, insulation, lot size, condition, and the downstream buyer’s requirements. National Tech Buyers reviews these details and confirms project terms before the material moves.

Provide the pickup or freight location and any access constraints. The page describes material categories for review and does not guarantee an offer for every cable type or quantity.
